2018 Free Comic Book Day

Twelve local shops are giving out free comic books on May 5 — check it out.

Kids and adults of all ages enjoy a good comic book. Embrace the fun during the annual Free Comic Book Day on Saturday, May 5, 2018.

It’s a nationwide happening with 12 local comic book shops giving away select complimentary comics while supplies last. There are 50 titles in all spanning the spectrum, including DC Superhero Girls (pictured above), The Amazing Spider-Man, Star Wars Adventures, Die Kitty Die: I Love You to Death, Riverdale, Doctor Who, Avengers: Captain America, Disney Princess Ariel Spotlight, Transformers Unicron and more.
