3 Family Events in Franklin Coming Up in July

Summer days are here again — and the City of Franklin is hosting a few fun events for thew whole family this July.

First up, there are two upcoming Movies in the Park events:

  • Detective Pikachu at Pinkerton Park (405 Murfreesboro Road, Franklin) on Friday, July 10th
  • Sonic the Hedgehog at Bicentennial Park (400 5th Ave N, Franklin) on Friday, July 17th

This summer’s Movies in the Park theme is video game summer, as they continue to show video game-inspired movies. Movie nights have a food truck on site and begin at 8 p.m. or when the sun goes down.

Next up, Franklin Parks’ Summer Kids’ Days return at Pinkerton Park on Wednesday, July 22 from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. Children of all ages are welcome to get outside and play with some themed activities provided by the City of Franklin Parks and Recreation.

The theme for July 22 is “Water Day!” Expect water slides, water relays, water balloons, splash pools, sprinklers, bubbles, beachballs and popsicles! Make sure to bring a towel and sunscreen
