5 New Things to Do in Pigeon Forge for 2024

It's time to talk about all of the new coming to Pigeon Forge this year!

Pigeon Forge is a favorite destination for Middle Tennessee families, and there’s a lot of new Things to Do that will be opening soon! Take a look:

New Things to Do in Pigeon Forge for 2024

1. Dig’n Zone Theme Park

Opening March 1, 2024, during a three-day Grand Opening weekend event, Dig’n Zone Theme Park is being touted as the world’s largest construction-based theme park! Dig’n Zone will have 25 different attractions spread across 27 acres. Kids can adults can climb aboard and operate heavy machinery including loaders, excavators, forklifts, rollers, and more. Got a back hoe lover? Now’s his chance to be a part of the operating action!

The Crayola Experience is currently available in Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Florida, Texas and Arizona. Pigeon Forge will be the sixth location.

2. Crayola Experience

Opening in the fall of 2024. One of the most colorful new things to do in Pigeon Forge in 2024 will be the Crayola Experience. This 30,000-square-foot indoor attraction will boast more than 20 hands-on, family-friendly activities. In addition, families can enjoy a retail store offering the world’s largest selection of Crayola products as well as unique souvenirs. Kids will be able to participate in creative activities such as naming their own Crayola crayon.

3. NERF Action Xperience

Opening in the fall of 2024. The NERF Action Xperience will include a 29,000-square-foot indoor facility for blaster battles, sports challenges, obstacle courses, and more.

4. The Dolly Parton Experience

Opening in May, 2024. We ALL love Dolly Parton and this new offering brings you even closer to the iconic star. Dollywood is adding the Dolly Parton Experience to include a variety of interactive elements that allow you to join Dolly Parton on her journey from her hometown to stages across the globe. You’ll be able to find out more about Parton’s career, inspiration, dreams, iconic style and more.

5. Space Race Adventures

Opening any day now (the Facebook page says so!) Get ready to embark on an extraterrestrial journey through space.  Space Race Adventures is an indoor attraction with plenty of things to do including mini golf, go karts, laser tag, a VR simulator, and a VR experience room.
