Family Firefly Hikes at Owl’s Hill

Find out what makes owls such good hunters, why a firefly lights up and how your vision changes in the dark at Owl’s Hill Nature Sanctuary (545 Beech Creek Road, Brentwood). Meet owl ambassadors, listen for night sounds and keep an eye out for nocturnal creatures during a kid-friendly hike through the meadow and orchard from 7 – 8:30 p.m. Cost is $25 per adults/child pair, $15 additional adult, $10 additional child. Happens June 20, 27 and July 28. Registration required.
