Celebrate America's independence with a bang at a festivity in your community!

Celebrate America's independence at one of these 4th of July celebrations in Nashville and other Middle Tennessee communities.  



Hendersonville’s Freedom Festival

Drake’s Creek Park 615-824-2818 • Vendor booths, live music and food booths open at 5 p.m. The winner of the Hendersonville Has Talent Competition will be revealed before the fireworks start at 9 p.m. The Kids’ Zone area is $5 for the first armband, $15 for a family of five.

Smyrna’s Independence Day Celebration

Lee Victory Recreation Park 615-459-9742, ext. 2622 The fun cranks up at 5 p.m. with live music, inflatables and more. Fireworks begin at 9 p.m.


Brentwood’s 4th of July

Crockett Park 615-371-0060 • Enjoy an evening of live big band and jazz music by The Kadillacs starting at 7 p.m. followed by fireworks at 9 p.m.

Lebanon's Fourth Festivities

James E. Ward Ag Center 615-589-8131 Free fun starts at 5 p.m. with hot dogs, watermelon, live entertainment and National Guard displays. Fireworks at 9 p.m.

Franklin on the Fourth

The Park at Harlinsdale Franklin on the Fourth fun starts at 10 a.m. with activities on the Public Square. Fireworks in the park start at 9 p.m.

Gallatin’s Fourth

Triple Creek Park 615-452-3890 • Starts at 2 p.m. with kids’ activities and live musical entertainment. Fireworks are at dark.


Moss-Wright Park 615-851-2241 • The fun kicks off at 4 p.m. with the Activity Zone (armbands required: $7 in advance, $10 at the gate), Fireman’s Foam, pony rides face painting and more. New this year is the free Gaga Pit. Fireworks start at 9 p.m.

La Vergne

Veterans Memorial Park 615-793-3224 • Starting at 6 p.m., enjoy live music, face painting, balloon artists, food vendors and more, followed by fireworks at dusk.

Mt. Juliet

Providence Marketplace Free family activities start at 4 p.m. with live music, inflatables, face painting, balloons, mini golf and more. Fireworks at 9 p.m.

Murfreesboro’s Celebration Under the Stars

McKnight Park 615-890-5333 • The fun starts at 5:30 p.m. with live music, children’s games and activities, and refreshments. Fireworks at 9 p.m.

Nashville’s Let Freedom Sing! Music City July Fourth in Downtown

Downtown Nashville Free fun starts with the Family Fun Zone in downtown’s Walk of Fame Park at 12 p.m. Live music starts on the main stage at Fifth & Broadway at noon. Country trio Lady Antebellum headlines at 8:10 p.m. Nashville Symphony performs at Ascend Amphitheater at 9:30 p.m. with the fireworks. The music will be piped into several downtown locations, including Walk of Fame Park, Public Square Park, Riverfront Park and Lower Broadway.

Pegram's Fourth of July

Pegram Park 615-646-0773 • A pancake breakfast is served from 6 – 9 a.m. at Pegram UMC across from the park, followed by a parade at 10 a.m. The rest of the day, families can participate in games, contests, children’s activities and more. Live music starts at 6:30 p.m. prior to the fireworks at 9:30 p.m.


Public Square 615-237-1776 • Bring your squirt guns and water balloons and have fun getting wet during this festivity starting at 3 p.m. that also includes a parade and fireworks at dusk.
