RiverGate Mall’s helping kids get back into the groove of a new school year on Saturday, July 20 during its Sixth Annual Back-to-School Expo and Book Bag Giveaway.
Sumner Parent and Nashville Parent sponsor the free event taking place from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. One of the biggest features of the event is the book bag giveaway. Students in grades 1 – 5 can pick up a free book bag filled with school supplies to get them started in their upcoming school year — 1,000 book bags will be given away (first come, first served).
Kids, of course, love posing for pics with their favorite superheroes and other characters, so be ready to snap some photos.
Other features during the expo include local vendor booths, face painting, a balloon artist, inflatables, a back-to-school fashion show with looks from Dillard’s (1 p.m.) and dance performances by RR Dance Studio.
