“Barbie The Movie: In Concert” This August

Barbie mania will explode this August when "Barbie The Movie: In Concert" arrives at Ascend Amphitheater.

Live Nation and Mattel, Inc. are bringing “Barbie The Movie: In Concert” to Ascend Amphitheater this summer. The live-to-film concert experience produced by Overture Global Entertainment will bring Warner Bros Pictures’ feature film to life with music from The Barbie Land Sinfonietta. The Sinfonietta is a special presentation from Orchestrator and Executive Producer Macy Schmidt’s all-women orchestra. The tour kicks off July 2 and will travel to 37 cities, landing in Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater on August 7. Tickets are on sale now.

“Barbie,” the record-smashing female empowerment film, will be projected onto a giant LED screen at Ascend. Fans of all ages will be able to celebrate the music of 2023’s highest grossing film. The one-of-a-kind immersive experience also features limited-edition merchandise, photo ops and more.

“We can’t wait for fans of all ages to join us in this immersive experience, celebrating the biggest movie of 2023 and bringing the magic of Barbie to life like never before,” said Josh Silverman, chief franchise officer of Mattel in a press release. “The incredible talents of Macy Schmidt and The Barbie Land Sinfonietta guarantee an unparalleled and unforgettable adventure,” he added.

Ascend Amphitheater is located at 310 First Ave. in downtown Nashville. Tickets to “Barbie The Movie: In Concert” include General Admission lawn space for $41.30; other tickets range from $67.20 to $169.50. Get tickets here.
