Imagine a place where your kids can run free… Where you know where your food comes from and have your kids see it grow…
Burns Village & Farm is a group of individuals and families working together to develop a cohousing and agrihood community in Burns, TN. They are looking for others interested in living in an intentional, semi-rural community that values diversity and preservation of farmland. Together, they will design a cluster of 28-35 privately owned homes, each with their own kitchen, laundry facility and a shared common house with space for community meals and social activities.
The site is approximately 15 acres carved out of a large farm about 25 miles west of Nashville. It includes wooded areas where we will develop a trail to a beautiful creek that borders the property. The community will include a sustainable farm area managed by experienced professionals where community members can volunteer, learn, and obtain fresh food. This form of development borrows from principles of agrihoods.
