Camps for kids will be swinging as we move through the summer months and Carpe Artista is offering four different arts camps for children.
MOANA, JR. Musical Theater Production
July 20 – 24 + performance at 7 p.m. on the last day
A five-day theater camp that culminates in a performance on the last day, kids in grades 4 – 12 are eligible. Kids who take this camp will be taught, encouraged and challenged to develop and entire show in one week's time. Lead by local professionals, kids are welcom to bring their own lunch each day or they can purchase from Carpe Cafe. Daily camp filled with instruction, rehearsals and even master classes starts with drop off from 8:45 a.m. – 9 a.m. and wraps up at 4:15 for dismissal.
Cost of the camp is $300 and includes tuition, a T-shirt and two event tickets for the final performance. You can also opt for an "Imagine Perks" package which includes an additional two tickets, a video, a 30-minute lesson and all lunches throughout the week for $350. REGISTER HERE.
Jukebox Hero Rock Band Camp
July 13 – 17 + Rock Your World Concert on the last day
Students in grades 6 – 12 are eligible. Campers will be grouped in bands for the week based on age and level of experience. All levels of experience are welcome. Camp runs from 8:445 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.

Creative Clash Visual Arts
July 13 – 17 or July 20 – 24
For kids in grades 4 – 12, week one (July 13 – 17) will include art conception, painting and mixed media. Multiple projects will be completed by each camper. The last day of camp will culminate with a Visual Arts Gallery Show followed by the Rock Band Concert Show on Friday evening.
The second week of camp culminates in a Visual Arts Gallery Show followed by the Musical Theater Show on Friday evening.

Mini Camps
Three different mini camps are available for kids in grades K – 3:
June 15 – 19, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. = Musical Theatre Camp
June 22 – 26, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. = Visual Arts Mini Camp
June 22 – 16, 1 – 4 p.m. = Visual Arts Mini Camp
The Carpe Artista Mini Camps are perfect for younger artists to get their creative juices flowing with paint, clay, mixed media and all manners of music and drama.
