The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department recently opened the newly redesigned Wellness Center and Group Fitness Studios at the Fairview Recreation Complex (2714 Fairview Blvd.). Phase one of the facility renovation is complete. It features a new, state-of-the-art, Wellness Center that's more than 5,000 square feet. It now sits on the west side of the building and features an assortment of new cardio and weight training equipment. A 4,000-square-foot Group Fitness Studio and a 2,000-square-foot Indoor Cycling Studio. There are also new Men’s and Women’s locker rooms with shower facilities.
There are more than 55 pieces of equipment for adults to use, too. Which makes the Fairview Recreation Complex Wellness Center one of the county’s largest fitness amenities. Experience comprehensive wellness with an assortment of Precor, Hoist, Matrix and Endurance machines. Similarly, the Group Fitness Studios now contain a large selection of dumbbells, kettle bells, weighted bars and barbell plates; mounted TRX equipment; rowers and new Schwinn spin bikes; along with a variety of medicine balls, stability balls and agility equipment.
Sign up for Personal Training services or a Group Fitness class. There are almost 40 classes each week, which offers something for every fitness enthusiast or novice.
The Fairview facility renovation project now moves into phases two and three, and the main entrance to the facility will be temporarily moved to the west side of the building.
