The tradition of making music available for all interested students continues as they gain a better knowledge of stringed instruments, preform as part an orchestra, and participate in competitions.

Started in 2012 as a platform for small local businesses and at home businesses to come together with the community and celebrate the holidays. They offer a large variety of businesses and local entertainment. Held on the second Saturday of November each year, Home for the Holidays has become Mt. Juliet’s largest holiday shopping event. A majority of all the vendor fees and donations are donated back to Friends of the Park for maintaining and beautifying the local parks and play areas. Santa is going to make a quick visit as well, so make sure to bring a camera and your smiles.

The “Morning Ticket” ($20) allows for access to the event beginning on Saturday morning beginning at 9 a.m. The “Afternoon Ticket” ($15) allows for access to the event beginning on Saturday afternoon beginning at 1 p.m. A portion of proceeds from this year’s event will benefit One Generation Away. One Generation Away distributes healthy foods to families throughout Middle Tennessee that currently do not have access to food sources due to economic and physical barriers.
