County Fair Opens Online Entries for Events

Contests and competitions are back in full swing at the 2022 Williamson County Fair.

Local bakers, growers, makers and creators can now submit their competitive events entries for the 2022 Williamson County Fair. The Competitive Events Premium Catalog is available online only with details for entries in categories such as agriculture, creative arts, culinary arts, cultural arts, livestock, youth, the Sing Your Heart Out vocal competition and pageants.

The 2022 Fair is set to return to the Williamson County AgExpo Park Friday, August 5 through Saturday, August 13, with returning fair-favorite shows and new events and competitions.

“We continue to be amazed by the talent in Williamson County and have been able to award prize money to winners in most competitive events,” said Rogers Anderson, Williamson County Fair Chairman. “We received more than 4,103 entries last year, and our hope is that the exciting new categories will encourage more people to enter, and to participate in more than one category.”

Most competitive events are open to all residents of Williamson County, and several may be entered by residents of adjoining counties. Many fair favorites are back this year including Farm Eggs, livestock shows, Quilt Block Challenge, Loveless Cafe biscuit contest, Kids in the Kitchen and the Goo Goo Cluster baking contest.
