Looking for a new adventure for your kids to splash into this summer? Venture River Water Park is a go-to spot for splashing family fun in Kentucky and it’s now in its 32nd season. Only one-hour-and-forty-minutes from Nashville, this mid-size water park boasts friendly staff, plenty of rotating lifeguards, fun attractions and good reviews. Families can play in the 18,000-square-foot wave pool, kick back in the 750-foot-long lazy river and enjoy lots of other water attractions. The park encompasses more than 30 acres off of U.S. 62, and uses around 1 million gallons of water to run its slides, splash pads, and wave pool.

Venture River Water Park is open seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday; and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sundays. It’s located at 280 FunWay Drive in Eddyville, Kentucky 42038. The phone is 270-388-7999. Admission is $30 for those 54″ and taller; $25 for those under 54″. Seniors 60 and older are $15 and toddlers 2 and younger are free.
