At El Pueblo, our overnight Spanish immersion camp, kids and teens experience what it’s like to have success with Spanish as they engage with the language throughout each day. They play games, make friends, sing songs, create art, and chow down on some delicious food, all while developing their Spanish skills and learning about the cultures of Spanish-speaking people.
Our overnight Mini-Camp is open to kids currently in elementary school and takes place from June 4th to June 7th. Tuition is $595, and tuition assistance is available.
Our overnight Main-Camp is open to kids and teens currently in 3rd through 10th grade and takes place from June 9th to June 15th. Tuition is $995, and tuition assistance is available.
While you can’t learn a language in a week, you can be inspired to become a lifelong learner and lover of new languages and cultures. The values of being a “Learner” and a “Lover” are really at the heart of our programing at El Pueblo.
A “Learner” might ask a counselor about what it’s like to grow up in another country, participate in a game that requires learning new skills, or risk it and take a bite of paella for the first time. A “Lover” might invite a cabin mate to join them in a game of four square, comfort another camper who’s feeling homesick, or thank a counselor who leads a really fun activity. We hope that our campers learn a bunch of Spanish, and have a lot of fun, while also finding inspiration to grow as people.
