For over 20 years, MLBA has worked directly with public schools, private schools, alternative schools, and homeschoolers to ensure the best education possible for each and every student. Through the dedication and passion of our highly qualified teachers, tutors, and educational consultants, we have assisted students in ACT/SAT preparation, homeschool support, credit recovery, individual subject tutoring, and much more!
One of our most well-known programs is our ACT and SAT tutoring. One thing that makes this program unique is that we offer both individual tutoring and group classes. Our individual tutoring can be scheduled according to the needs and availability of the student with no contract for a minimum number of hours. Group classes are always an option before every ACT national testing date.
Our homeschool tutorial program operates in partnership with umbrella schools to conduct classes for students that do not wish to complete all of their schooling from home. Whether the need is to complete just one chemistry class or attend full-time for all classes, we can offer support to students at every grade level from all educational backgrounds. This includes students with ADHD, ADD, autism, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties.
Credit recovery services are primarily offered during the summer months but can also be conducted during the school year. We work with schools like Father Ryan High School, Providence Christian Academy, and other private schools in the Middle TN area to provide a way for a student to make-up a failing grade. This ensures the failing grade does not go on the student’s transcript and the course does not have to be retaken the following semester.
Lastly, academic tutoring is available at any time of the year for any subject, K-12! This is helpful if a student needs to prepare for an upcoming test or wants to review material that was too difficult to understand during class. All of our teachers and tutors are familiar with common curriculums and Mary Lee Bunch Associates has great relationships with several of the teachers and guidance counselors at the schools in our area.
