Where Every Family Matters

Dog Park Grants Awarded!

Dog parks in the area are up for a change or even a new addition with the recent awarding of $25K grants.

Dog parks are great for furry friends and families, too. It's a great way to meet other families while dogs get time to socialize. On Thursday, July 5, $25,000 grants were awarded to many communities across Tennessee through The Boyd Foundation's Tennessee Dog Park Dash. In Middle Tennessee alone the grant was awarded to Gallatin, Lawrenceburg, Lewisburg, Manchester, McMinnville, Mount Pleasant, Murfreesboro, Spring Hill and White House. These areas can use the grant to build or enhance off-leash dog parks. The Boyd Foundation's multi-year commitment aims to make Tennessee the most pet friendly state. We can't wait to see what these communities produce with their grants. We will let you know as more information is released.
