2022 Easter Fun in Middle Tennessee!

Easter is this Sunday! Here's your last chance for bunny hops, egg hunts and other festive outings.

Easter egg hunts! Get into the spirit by bringing your children to a community Easter egg hunt or other Easter-themed event. Most of the hunts and festivities feature appearances by Peter Cottontail, so be ready for great Easter Bunny photo ops!

Here are the Easter egg hunts and other Easter-themed events by county:

NASHVILLE

Spring It On at Gaylord

March 5 – May 8

Family-friendly seasonal escapes on weekends. The resort has β€œPaint Me a Fairytale” experiences ($35), animal encounters (on Saturdays at 3:30 and 4:30 p.m.), a scavenger hunt ($12.99), cookie decorating ($10.98), Easter Bunny meet & greets, carriage rides ($65) and more.

Egg-A-Rama

Roll in for this open house-style event from 12 – 3 p.m. to learn more about the nature of eggs. There will be an β€œegg” scavenger hunt in the classroom that allows kids to collect nature knowledge rather than plastic eggs. Registration required.

Spring Art Hop

Friday, April 15 – Saturday April 16
CheekwoodΒ 
1200 Forrest Park Dr, Nashville
Come out for nine oversized bunnies painted by local artists (eight of them hidden throughout the gardens), live entertainment for kids and the return of egg hunts at Cheekwood on April 15 and 16 from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Easter Bunny Train Ride

Saturday April 16
Tennessee Central Railway Museum
220 Willow St, Nashville
Come ride with the Easter Bunny on a classic stainless steel passenger train. On this 90 mile round trip, the Easter Bunny will be making visits to each car. During the layover in Watertown, there will be egg hunts. Boarding starts at 8:30 a.m. with departure at 9 a.m. and return to Nashville at 3:30 p.m. Cost is $46.

Egg hunts and Easter fun for children from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Activities include 12 scheduled egg hunts for kids, games, face painting, keeper talks, animal encounters and animal egg hunts! Non-member adults are $50, member adults are $25, children are $20. Children under 2 are free.

FREE!Β Hermitage Presbyterian Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday April 16
Hermitage Presbyterian Church

421 Highland View Drive, Hermitage
A great free family fun community event with four egg hunting age groups with thousands of eggs, in addition to games, pictures with the Easter Bunny, cupcake decorating and inflatables to play on. There will be a 2000-bubble-a-minute play area and bunny hop sack races.

 

RUTHERFORD

Easter Bunny Breakfast

Friday, April 15 – Saturday April 16
Lucky Ladd FarmsΒ

This special breakfast includes a scrumptious breakfast buffet, Easter Bunny meet and greet, a visit with some of the Farm’s favorite baby animal ambassadors and souvenir gift for each child from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. Cost is $150 for a table reservation for six.

Easter Egg Hunt at Lucky Ladd Farms

Children under 2 are free. Tickets are $14 – $20 online, $17 – $23 at the gate.
