Start your own tradition by visiting the home of the 7th president for Christmas at The Hermitage (4580 Rachel’s Lane, Hermitage) from 5 – 7 p.m. Open-house tours of The Hermitage Mansion will give a personal look into the home of the Jackson family and many of their Christmas traditions, while a horse-drawn wagon tour will describe the customs of the holiday season for the enslaved on the property. In addition. enjoy photos with Father Christmas, Christmas carols, a gingerbread house competition, balloon art, s’mores over open fire, food trucks and shopping. Cost for ages 5 – 12 is $10 for members, $15 for non-members. Cost for ages 13 and older is $20 for members, $30 for non-members.
