Enslaved Memorial Service at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage

This free service Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage (4580 Rachel’s Lane, Hermitage) honors the lives of those bound to The Hermitage and other sites in Nashville. This year’s speaker is Gary Burke, a native of Nashville and attended Tennessee State University. Starts at 11 a.m. Following the Service, guests are invited to join for a reception featuring art from local artist, Ross Jordan; as well as pay respects at the recently discovered enslaved cemetery.
