“Stories_” by The Theater Bug
Originally premiering as a web series in 2021, Stories_ follows the lives of five young people through both their online “stories” and the real-life stories that shape them. The show addresses navigating the world as a young woman, growing up as the child of a parent with mental illness, the lives of LGBTQIA+ youth, and the impact of police brutality and racism. Heartbreaking, funny, and deeply moving, Stories_ is an unforgettable musical with 18 original songs that you will want to sing all the way home. Performances are at Nashville School of the Arts’ Roxy Theater (1250 Foster Ave, Nashville) on July 26 – 27 and then July 31 – Aug. 3. Cost is $20 general admission, $15 children 12 and under.
