“Field Day” by The Theater Bug

See this new show written by local playwright Nate Eppler and performed by The Theater Bug’s talented youth cast. Performances are at Nashville School of the Arts’ Roxy Theater (1250 Foster Ave, Nashville) on June 12 and June 13 at 7 p.m., plus June 14 at 3 and 7 p.m. Cost is $15 general admission, $10 children 12 and under.

Field Day Synopsis

At Derrydale Junior-Senior High School, Field Day isn’t just a friendly competition, it’s a school-sanctioned no-holds-barred battleground with water balloons and matching t-shirts. When the reigning Seniors rig this year’s games to protect their legacy, a team of misfit underdogs must unite with their rivals to outthink, outlast, and outplay them in a series of hilariously absurd games. This year, it’s not about winning or losing —  it’s about learning to stand together.
