Homeschool Day: Springtime at Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage

Explore all things springtime on the grounds of Andrew Jackson’s Hermitage (4580 Rachel’s Ln., Hermitage) as they discuss the start of the farm’s yearly work. Join for activities such as water testing, nature walks, bug repellent making, seed planting and more. All come-and-go activities will be available from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and are designed especially for children ages 5 to 11. Parking is free, picnic space is available, and leashed dogs are permitted on site. Adult tickets are $22 each, and student tickets are $11 each. A Family Rate (one adult and three children) is available for $55. Members receive a discounted price of $17 for adults and $6 for students. Children 4 and younger are free but do require a ticket.
