Honey Harvest at Glen Leven Farm

This weekend, come learn about bees and local honey at The Land Trust for Tennessee’s Glen Leven Farm (4000 Franklin Pike, Nashville) from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. You’ll be joined by Gary Saakian from Green Hills Gold, their resident beekeeper. He will do a honey harvest, have an observation hive and teach how he raises bees and collects honey. They will also be giving away our recently harvested Glen Leven Farm honey while supplies last! While you’re there, use the field guide to hike the Nature Trail, see what’s blooming in the Education Garden, and say hello to their resident miniature donkeys.
