Kidsville at The Parthenon

Join Kidsville at the Parthenon on select Saturdays each month. Families with children ages 12 and under can enter the Parthenon (2500 West End Ave., Nashville) for free. A Kidsville team member will be taking registrations at the entrance of the Parthenon beginning at 10:30 a.m. Weekly storytelling or special guest programming will begin promptly at 11 a.m. in front of Athena.

March 15: Come hear the Greek myth about seasons and the 6 Pomegranate seeds eaten by Persephone, then plant your own seeds for a spring garden.

March 22: Come explore how new music can expand our minds and ears with Intersection Music Group, Nashville’s contemporary classical music ensemble, then make art inspired by the music.

March 29: Come hear about the Greek myth of Sisyphus and his never ending workout, then make art inspired by the story.
Full Activity Schedule:
- 10:30 – 11:20 AM: Free entry to Parthenon for Kidsville
- 10:30 AM – Kidsville activity stations open for play.
- 11:00 AM – Storytime or special guest programming in front of the statue of Athena.
- 11:45 AM – Kidsville activity stations close.
What to Expect:
- Activity Stations: Explore hands-on activities between 10:30 AM and 11:45 AM. Let your kids dive into fun and discovery at their own pace.
- Storytime: Gather in front of the Athena statue at 11:00 AM for storytime and an arts and crafts activity inspired by the book. We usually wrap up by 11:30 AM.
