Kidsville at The Parthenon

January 17 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

Join Kidsville at the Parthenon on select Saturdays each month. Families with children ages 12 and under can enter the Parthenon (2500 West End Ave., Nashville) for free. A Kidsville team member will be taking registrations at the entrance of the Parthenon beginning at 10:30 a.m. (Avoid the line: complete this registration form online in advance). Weekly storytelling or special guest programming will begin promptly at 11 a.m. in front of Athena.

Full Activity Schedule:

  • 10:30 – 11:20 AM: Free entry to Parthenon for Kidsville
  • 10:30 AM – Kidsville activity stations open for play.
  • 11:00 AM – Storytime or special guest programming in front of the statue of Athena.
  • 11:45 AM – Kidsville activity stations close.

What to Expect:

  • Activity Stations: Explore hands-on activities between 10:30 AM and 11:45 AM. Let your kids dive into fun and discovery at their own pace.
  • Storytime: Gather in front of the Athena statue at 11:00 AM for storytime and an arts and crafts activity inspired by the book. We usually wrap up by 11:30 AM.

January Dates:

  • January 17, 2026: Explore the subject of snow in science, myth, art and more, then create your own snowy scene.
  • January 24, 2026: Discover how new music can expand our minds and ears with Intersection Music Group, Nashville’s contemporary classical music ensemble, then make art inspired by the music.
  • January 31, 2026: Hear the story of the first picture of a snowflake in January, 1885 by “Snowflake” Bentley and explore how each one is unique, then make your own snowflake art.
