String City

December 7, 2024 @ 10:00 am

An amazing array of puppeteers and marionettes by Nashville Public Library’s Wishing Chair Production chronicle the history of country music and how Nashville became Music City USA. The story is told through nearly 100 puppets, ranging from Johnny Cash to Dolly Parton and Taylor Swift. New additions to the family-friendly program include representations of Kane Brown, Miranda Lambert and Chris Stapleton.

There are two shows at 10 and 11:30 a.m. in the Ford Theater at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum (222 Rep. John Lewis Way S, Nashville). Run time is 1 hour and 15 minutes. Recommended for 3 – 10, but all are welcome.
