Tennessee Renaissance Festival

$2 – $28Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Travel back to 16th Century England for the 39th Annual Tennessee Renaissance Festival at Castle Gwynn (2124 New Castle Road, Arrington) every Saturday and Sunday in May (including Memorial Day, May 26th) from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Enjoy the bustle of a Renaissance Marketplace, artisans from all over the country, Renaissance musicians, archery, axe throwing, jousting shows and much more! Adult tickets are $28 on Saturdays and $25 on Sundays. Tickets for children ages 3-12 are $5 and children ages 2 and younger are admitted for free.
THEME WEEKENDS
- Viking Victory: May 3rd and 4th: Dress as your favorite Viking and prepare for your next siege. Odin will be pleased.
- Fantasy and Folklore: May 10th and 11th: Enter the realm of hobbits, fairies, dragons and giants. Experience the adventure in person appearing as the main character in your fantasy world.
- Pirate Plunder: May 17th and 18th: The hills will be swarming with rascals and rogues as a crew of scurvy pirates invade our shire of Covington Glen. See the swashbuckling and sword-brandishing of pirates galore.
- Celtic Celebration: May 24th, 25th and 26th: Join us as we add a Celtic flair to the Faire. Enjoy the fun as we honor those early Britons – men, wear your kilts!
NEW SPECIAL EVENTS
Queen’s Tea (Reservation Required)
You are cordially invited to our Queen’s Tea in the Queen’s Pavilion. Sit with the Queen and her court and share tea, pastries, tea sandwiches, and small deserts. This experience is available for individuals ages 13 and up.Ticket price is $25 (Festival Admission Required Separately). The Queen’s Promenade begins at 4 p.m. on the Joust Field and is offered on May 10th, 11th, 17th, 18th, 24th, and 25th. To purchase a ticket, click here.
Fairy Flower Crown Craft
Step into the magic of the fae realm at our Fairy Flower Crown Craft! This enchanting experience invites young festival-goers to craft their very own whimsical flower crown alongside our magical fairy instructors. Using pipe cleaners, yarn, and a sprinkle of fairy magic, participants will create a one-of-a-kind headpiece fit for any woodland young fairy. This hands-on activity is perfect for children ages 5- 10. Tickets go on sale on April 1, 2025 and must be purchased in advance. Ticket price is $20.00 (Festival Admission Required Separately). Fairy Habitat and Hobbit House Competition
On Saturday, May 10th and Sunday, May 11th, put your creativity on full display at the Fairy Habitat & Hobbit House Competition in the Queen’s Garden Glen. Our own festival fairies will pick their favorites each day at 3:00 p.m.

- The festival is cash only for food, beverages, games and souvenirs
- Patrons bringing or buying swords at the festival must have the sword sheathed and peace-tied with a cable tie at all times, for safety reasons. Arrows must have tips removed.
