Tennessee Renaissance Festival

Hear Ye! Hear Ye! Travel back to 16th Century England for the 40th Annual Tennessee Renaissance Festival at Castle Gwynn (2124 New Castle Road, Arrington) every Saturday and Sunday in May (including Memorial Day, May 25) from 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Enjoy the bustle of a Renaissance Marketplace, artisans from all over the country, Renaissance musicians, archery, axe throwing, jousting shows and much more!

Saturday adult tickets are $28 in advance ($38 day of); Sunday/Memorial Day adult tickets are $25 in advance ($35 day of); and child tickets (ages 3 – 12 years old) are $5 in advance($10 day of).

THEME WEEKENDS

  • Nordic Invasion
    May 2nd and 3rd: Dress as your favorite Viking and prepare for your next siege. Odin will be pleased.
  •  

    Fae Frolic
    May 9th and 10th: Enter the realm of hobbits, fairies, dragons, and giants. Experience the adventure in person appearing as the main character in your fantasy world.

    Pirate Parley
    May 16th and 17th: The hills will be swarming with rascals and rogues as a crew of scurvy pirates invade our shire of Covington Glen. See the swashbuckling and sword-brandishing of pirates galore.

    Isle of Skye
    May 23rd, 24th, and 25th: Join us as we add a Celtic flair to the Faire. Enjoy the fun as we honor those early Britons. Men, wear your kilts!

    Echoes of Olympus
    May 30th and 31st: A time of heroes, legends, gods, and goddesses. Don your laurel and step back in time to the Age of Mythology.

NEW SPECIAL EVENTS

Queen’s Games
Join Her Majesty on the lawn for lighthearted yard games, royal banter, and plenty of merriment! The Queen invites patrons of all ages to laugh and enjoy a bit of courtly fun while she mingles and shares stories from the realm. Queen’s Games is held every festival day beginning at 10:30 a.m. in the Royal Garden Glen.

Knighting Ceremony
Receive TNRF’s highest honor and be knighted by her majesty, Queen Elizabeth. The ceremony is held every festival day from 3:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Hammerbeam Inn. 

Costume Parade
Join for the Tennessee Renaissance Festival Costume Parade, a grand tradition where festival-goers can showcase their finest attire before Her Majesty the Queen! The parade begins at 5:30 p.m. at the Chess Board/Joust Field.

Festival of Song
As the day draws to a close, gather with us for pub sing and raise your voice in “Health to the Company.” Join cast, musicians and patrons alike in this beloved tradition of song, camaraderie, and shared good cheer to send the day off right. Festival of Song is held every festival day beginning at 5:30 p.m. at the Hammerbeam Inn.
