Wishing Chair Puppet Show Storytime
February 4 @ 9:30 am - 12:00 pm
Storytimes with Wishing Chair Productions are a weekly “must” for littles. You don’t want to miss Library Pete, Dr. Ev, and Mr. B as they sing, juggle and read lots of wonderful books for your family. Shows are presented at 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. in the Children’s Theater at the downtown Nashville Public Library (615 Church St., Nashville).
WISHING CHAIR HISTORY
Tom Tichenor started putting on shows for the Nashville Public Library in 1938, at age 15. Hull inherited Tichenor’s marionettes, and he’s been the city’s master of puppetry ever since. See the full schedule of story times at Nashville’s Main Library branch and at other Middle Tennessee branches. Today, families can stream puppet shows.
