Description

Come out to Nashville Public Library (615 Church St., Nashville) for a bright new take on some classic tales presented by the Nashville Public Library Puppet Truck. Presented from March 10 – 25 in the Children’s Theater on Fridays and Saturdays at 10:30 and 11:30 a.m. Running time is 30 minutes. Recommended for ages 3 – 10, but all are welcome.

For the Kids to Know

There are lots of different kinds of puppets: marionettes, hand puppets, stick puppets, shadow puppets and even people-size puppets with actors inside of them. Watching puppets talk is nothing short of magical for toddlers, and it’s a great idea to get your child acquainted with the story before you go — it will make it easier to follow along.
