Cheekwood in Bloom
Description
Cheekwood’s 11th annual spring celebration runs through April 9 with 250,000 tulips, daffodils and spring blooming bulbs. Celebrate the changing season with five weekends of family activities, adult workshops and programs, special performances and plenty of natural inspiration.
The grounds include a Japanese garden, a reflection pools and a 1.5-mile woodland sculpture trail. Moreover, there are 13 distinct gardens plus the Bracken Foundation Children’s Garden to delight kids of all ages. The space includes secret nooks, hidden spaces, water features (a wishing well and turtle pond), an art studio and labyrinth. In addition, toddlers can enjoy an Adventure Walk designed for them complete with a Tea House, Story Tree, Fairy Garden and more.
Cheekwood in Bloom Details
Cheekwood is open six days a week from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. for the festival. Cost is $20-$29 for adults, seniors and students; $13-$22 for ages 3-17; members get in free. Capacity is limited, and tickets must be reserved online in advance. Follow Cheekwood’s Tulip Tracker on their Facebook and Instagram pages to know what’s popping up in the gardens.
