
Kidsville at The Parthenon
Description
Join Kidsville at the Parthenon on select Saturdays each month. Families with children ages 12 and under can enter the Parthenon (2500 West End Avenue, Nashville) for free. A Kidsville team member will be taking registrations at the entrance of the Parthenon beginning at 10:30 a.m. Programs last from 11 – 11:45 a.m. and are located upstairs in Parthenon’s Naos room that houses Athena unless otherwise noted.
Kidsville at The Parthenon Schedule
- SEPTEMBER 3 – Explore the beloved book, Dandelion Magic by Darren Farrell, with Imagination Library, then make art inspired by the book.
- SEPTEMBER 10 – Learn about the stories of refugees in the Greek myth of Odysseus by Homer and the book, Story Boat by Kyo Maclear, then create your own story boat art.
- SEPTEMBER 24 – Join beekeeper Craig Petersen as we learn about honey bees and beekeeping during National Honey Month, then create your own honeycomb mosaic art.
