Kidsville at The Parthenon
Description
Join Kidsville at the Parthenon on select Saturdays each month. Families with children ages 12 and under can enter the Parthenon (2500 West End Avenue, Nashville) for free. A Kidsville team member will be taking registrations at the entrance of the Parthenon beginning at 10:30 a.m. Programs last from 11 – 11:45 a.m. and are located upstairs in Parthenon’s Naos room that houses Athena unless otherwise noted.
Upcoming Kidsville Schedule
- March 4: Come for an exploration of Dolly Parton’s book, I Am A Rainbow with Imagination Library, then make art inspired by the book.
- March 11: Come explore common myths and legends of lucky coins from around the world, then design your own coin.
- March 18: Come hear the Greek myth of Hestia and the surprise found inside the Parthenon statue representing the goddess of the hearth, then make art inspired by this surprise.
- March 25: Come join us for an exploration of color in art, nature and healthy food inspired by art displayed in the museum, then make a color collage.
