La Vergne is getting the community together for a day of family fun during the free Jackson Square Fun Fair! On Saturday, June 03 everyone is invited out for free games, food and more from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. at 6001 Jackson Square Blvd., Lavergne. The theme of the event is safety and the city aims to provide locals with info on certain safety topics. There will be interactive, hands-on activities as well as tips given by professionals. The kids can enjoy checking out firetrucks and meet firemen and policemen. Parents can peruse the vendor booths and pick up some goodies. You can also win prizes with the contests and raffles for all ages.
