Warmer weather and more daylight means the return of outdoor concerts! And as outdoor concert venues go, it’s hard to beat Ascend Amphitheater in downtown Nashville. There’s just something about listening to your favorite acts in front of the city skyline as the sun sets that does the soul good. The season’s first show kicks off on Saturday, April 19th, with Cake, and the last show will occur on Thursday, October 30th, with Parcels. Below are the first five shows in 2025.

1. Cake
Saturday, April 19 | 8 p.m.
The season’s first show at Ascend Amphitheater features this alternative rock band known for their eclectic blend of genres, distinctive vocals and a wide range of instruments including trumpet, keyboards and even a vibraslap.
Thursday, April 24 – Saturday, April 26 | 7 p.m.
The Southern rock/jam band formed from Athens, Georgia makes their way to Nashville for three nights in late April.
Sunday, May 4 | 8 p.m.
Join the Nashville Symphony to hear memorable music from a galaxy far, far away, featuring Star Wars selections from the entire film saga, including some of the most thrilling music ever written for movies. Highlights include the Star Wars Main Title, “The Phantom Menace Suite,” “The Rise of Skywalker: The Speeder Chase” and more.
4. Rufus du Sol
Tuesday, May 6 | 7:30 p.m.
See the Grammy-winning Australian alternative dance trio known for their live electronic music and vibrant visuals.
5. Halsey
Wednesday, May 21 | 7 p.m.
Halsey’s For My Last Trick 2025 tour features several special guests appearing on select dates, including Del Water Gap, The Warning, Alvvays, Hope Tala, Sir Chloe, Royel Otis, Flowerovlove, Magdalena Bay and Alemeda.
