Free Coats for Those in Need on Jan. 28

If you are in need of a coat, stop by Barnabas Vision on Friday, Jan. 28.

Barnabas Vision is having a coat giveaway on Friday, January 28 from 8:30 – 11 a.m. The coats are free for those who lack the ability to buy a coat. Coats will be available in multiple sizes for adults and children, thanks to local residents who donated them.

The organization is located at 141 MTCS Road, between Memorial Boulevard and Northfield Boulevard near Haynes Hardware.

Every February, Barnabas Vision participates in Encouragement Month. The non-profit tries to find different projects that can be done in the Murfreesboro area to show encouragement to those who need it the most.

David Coggin, founder of Barnabas Vision stated, “I am encouraged by all the people that want to encourage those that are discouraged. There have been many blessings over the last two years, but there has also been a lot of hardships for many people.”

As February approaches, Barnabas Vision is looking for ideas from the community on what they can do to encourage others. Send ideas to the local non-profit by visiting thebarnabasvision.org.
