Tired Turkey Cookie Class

Tuesday, Nov. 20 from 10:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Sugar Drop hosts a “Tired Turkey” themed cookie decorating class with Laura’s Custom Cookies. Class participants receive recipes for the perfect sugar cookie and royal icing. In addition, learn techniques including consistencies for outlining, flooding, wet-on-wet, wet-on-dry and marbling. Laura gives a live demonstration on how to make the perfect royal icing and helps students create six themed cookies with hands-on instruction each step of the way.

Chef Class Christmas Cookie Workshop

Saturday, Dec. 1 from 9 – 11:30 a.m.

Enjoy a parent/child (ages 5 and older) cookie decorating class where you get to sample the creations and take home recipes as well as a portion to share with someone else (or for yourself later on). Learn how to roll out, shape, and bake sugar and gingerbread cookies. Decorate them using different tools of the trade.

Sweet Christmas Beginner Cookie Class

Friday, Dec. 7 from 12:30 – 3 p.m.

Ages 12 and older learn how to decorate cookies with royal icing. This class for beginners demonstrates outlining, flooding, polka dots, stripes and marbling techniques. Then you decorate six of your own gingerbread-themed cookies as well as candy cane, peppermints and a fun Christmas tree. In addition, class participants take home a copy of icing and dough recipes as well as full instruction packets. 

Cost is $65 per person, plus registration fees. All class supplies are provided. The class takes place at Maison de Sucre at 2235 Chantry Place Lane, Thompson’s Station. Please register and pay the registration fee through Eventbrite.
