PIED PIPER SERIES: PETER AND THE WOLF

The Nashville Symphony kicks off its 2016 – 2017 music series for children with Prokofiev’s wonderful classic. Wishing Chair Productions brings the story to even more vivid life with puppetry. Be sure to bring your kids to the Schermerhorn an hour early so they can have fun with lots of free hands-on activities throughout the building, including a musical instrument petting zoo, arts and crafts, games, stories and more.

Little kids can enjoy trick-or-treating along the trails, and the festival field is home to carnival games and bounce houses. The Enchanted Village features the talking pumpkin, princess photo opps and other entertainment. Brave older kids can visit the Frightful Farm that includes spooky tales and scary surprises in the zombie-infused Haunted Barn.
