Nashville Ballet recently announced its 2016 - 2017 season, which includes an uncovering of "untold stories" in its lineup along with the return of a couple family favorites. “Someone once told me that our ballet company is ‘very human,’ and that particularly struck me because that’s exactly our goal at Nashville Ballet,” says Paul Vasterling, Nashville Ballet artistic director and CEO. “We want to connect with audiences on a very human level to allow them to feel something authentic and real. It’s when we open our worlds a little and allow ourselves to see things from a different perspective that we’re able to grow, and that’s the inspiration behind this season.” The full season includes the following: Cinderella Sept. 16 - 18 TPAC's Polk Theater Live music performed by Nashville Symphony Something Wicked Oct. 20 - 22 TPAC's Polk Theater Live music performed by ALIAS Chamber Ensemble Nashville's Nutcracker Dec. 3 - 23 TPAC's Jackson Hall Live music performed by Nashville Symphony Attitude featuring Under the Lights and Sergeant Early's Dream Feb. 9 - 12, 2017 TPAC's Polk Theater Live music performed by Sugar + The Hi-Lows Seven Deadly Sins with Appalachian Spring May 5 - 7, 2017 TPAC's Jackson Hall Live music performed by Ten Out of Tenn and Nashville Symphony Ferdinand the Bull May 14 - 21, 2017 Martin Center for Nashville Ballet Emergence June 1 - 3, 2017 Martin Center for Nashville Ballet There are four different subscription packages on sale now.
