‘Cinderella’ & More for Nashville Ballet’s 2022-23 Season

Featuring Emmy award-winning choreographer Paul Vasterling’s 'Cinderella,' the world-premiere of 'Anthology' and more!

The Nashville Ballet 2022-23 season line up is here. Featuring star-studded collaborations and fan-favorites, the repertoire includes the return of the production that inspired the Emmy Award-winning film, Nashville’s Nutcracker. Also on deck are family favorites like Paul Vasterling’s Cinderella (Oct. 6 – 9) and The Sleeping Beauty (May 5 – 14, 2023) from the School of Nashville Ballet. In addition, world-premiere works by award-winning choreographers and new live musical collaborations with the Nashville Symphony are coming up.

“From renowned choreographers to award-winning musicians, we are honored to be sharing the stage with so many incredible creators next season,” says Artistic Director Paul Vasterling. “It’s our hope that our community embraces this unique opportunity to experience both new and beloved world-class art right here in Nashville,” he adds.

The final stroke of midnight changes it all when a princess, prince and glass slipper come together on stage for Paul Vasterling’s Cinderella. Featuring live music by the Nashville Symphony, this production shows that with determination, anything is possible.

New in Nashville brings you never-before-seen-in-Music-City works by many of the world’s most sought-after choreographers set to music performed live by the Nashville Symphony. This tour de ballet includes creative visionary Cathy Marston’s Snowblind, based on Edith Wharton’s Ethan Frome, plus brand-new pieces by Matthew Neenan and Tony-Award winning choreographer Donald Byrd.
