Your local library encourages kids to keep reading while school's out during the 2018 Summer Reading Program. The program runs in June and July, but many library branches in Middle Tennessee are encouraging young readers to sign up this month.

2018 SUMMER READING THEME

This year's theme is LIBRARIES ROCK. Kids can set reading goals and earn prizes for reaching them. In addition, libraries host several events, including special storytimes, activities, workshops and guest appearances. Furthermore, it's free to participate, though some events require advance registrations. Teens — and YOU! — can participate, too. Sign up at your local branch or online:
