This Native American celebration includes dancing, music, demonstrations, fry bread, storytelling, games and more.

BOO AT THE ZOO

Don your costumes for the trick-or-treating trail with character visits and animal encounters. Other fun includes carnival games, hayrides, the Haunted Barn and more.

RUTHERFORD PARENT’S FALL KIDS FEST
The Avenue Murfreesboro

Join Rutherford Parent for its premier outdoor family festival. Activities include local vendors, live performances by Tom Mason and the Blue Buccaneers pirate band, face painting and more. The baby costume parade is at 10:30 a.m.; the big kids costume parade is at 11:30 a.m. β€” both with random drawing prizes.

HIT IT AND QUIDDITCH TOURNAMENT

The Nashville Rollergirls host this Harry Potter-themed roller derby tournament where you can cheer for players like Harry Slaughter, Hermione Danger and Dumblegore. Fans can buy spells to affect game play and there’s also a costume contest and Harry Potter surprises.

FAMILY FESTIVAL DAY: PARIS 1900
Frist Art Museum, Nashville
Sunday, Oct. 21
Performances and activities inspired by the exhibit Paris 1900: City of Entertainment and the International Exposition. Plus, hands-on creativity for kids.
