20+ Fall Fests to Enjoy this Month

From Franklin's Pumpkinfest to Rutherford Parent's Fall Kids Fest, outdoor family events are bursting with all-things-autumn!

CHEEKWOOD HARVEST
Cheekwood, Nashville
Sat – Sun thru Oct. 27 | 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.
$20 adults, $13 ages 3 – 17

Explore the pumpkin patch and house, peruse the Scarecrows exhibit, enjoy live music and lawn games, relax in the beer garden, tour the gardens and mansion, and more. On Saturdays, you can also participate in hands-on art-making activities and listen to storytelling for kids. On Sundays, participate in Tai Chi and yoga in the garden, then embark on a behind-the-scenes tour of the gardens and greenhouse.

FALL FOR LASCASSAS

Saturdays thru Oct. 26 | 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Free admission

This fall festival has a different theme each week, and all Saturdays include inflatables, a pumpkin patch, a kids' maze, crafts, a petting zoo, pumpkin painting and more.

36TH ANNUAL PUMPKINFEST
Downtown Franklin

Middle Tennessee's largest family festival bursts with Halloween-themed fun including costume contests, extreme pumpkin caring demonstrations, arts and crafts, live entertainment and a Kids' Zone filling a city block with inflatables, face painting, games, pony rides and more.

Enjoy a variety of live music during Franklin's Pumpkinfest on Saturday, Oct. 26.

43RD ANNUAL HARVEST DAYS

Storytelling, hands-on demonstrations, crafts, hayrides, live music and clogging performances.

FALL FESTIVAL EXCURSION TRAIN

Ride the rails to Baxter where you can enjoy the town's fall craft festival.

FALL HARVEST PARTY

Welcome the harvest season with farm-style games, crafts, s'mores, horse encounters and more. Costumes in a western/ranch theme encouraged.

GREEN HILLS COMMUNITY CHURCH FALL FESTIVAL

Saturday, Oct. 26 | 3 – 5 p.m.

Inflatables, carnival games, a cake walk, food and more.

Kids can dress up and trick-or-treat during Rutherford Parent's Fall Kids Fest on Saturday, Oct. 26.

HAUNTED MUSEUM STORYTELLING FESTIVAL
Tennessee State Museum, Nashville
Saturday, Oct. 26 | 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Free admission

Chilling stories from Tennessee's past along with a costume parade, snacks, games, art activities plus a Nashville Public Library Puppet Truck show.

RUTHERFORD PARENT'S FALL KIDS FEST
The Avenue, Murfreesboro
Saturday, Oct. 26 | 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Free admission

Fall family fun and Halloween hoots join forces during a day of festivities that include local vendor booths doling out treats, lots of inflatables, games, enrichment program demonstrations and more. Two kids' costume contests take place: Ages 6 months – 2 years at 11 a.m., ages 3 – 10 years at 11:30 a.m. Participating kids will be entered into random drawings for prizes.

FALL CARNIVAL
Life Church, Lebanon
Wednesday, Oct. 30 | 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Free admission

Giant inflatables, carnival games, hot dogs, nachos, cotton candy, snow cones, popcorn and more (the concessions are free, too). From 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. is for special needs families only, then it opens for everyone at 6:30 p.m.
