Parents, get ready — Nashville may soon have a new answer to the age-old question: What should we do tonight? Answer: Play Hooky.

Hooky Entertainment
Coming soon to the Nashville Yards district downtown, Hooky Entertainment Nashville Yards promises a full evening of family fun under one roof. The massive entertainment complex — expected to open very soon although no date is yet specified — will span roughly 45,000 square feet and combine movies, bowling, arcade games and dining in one space.
In other words: one place where everyone in the family can find something to love.
The centerpiece will be a luxury dine-in 12-screen movie theater with plush reclining seats and big-screen sound. Families can watch the latest blockbuster, catch a special screening, or make movie night feel a little more special than the living-room couch — with bottomless popcorn.
And Hooky is designed to be more than a theater. Inside, families will also find:
— Bowling lanes for friendly family competitions
— A colorful arcade packed with games, video games and prizes
— A full restaurant with kid-friendly options
— Space for birthday parties and group events

That combination means you can turn a quick outing into a whole evening: bowl a game, grab dinner, then settle in for a movie.
Birthday Parties Made Easy
Yes, planning kid birthday parties feels like a job today. Maybe Hooky could be a welcome solution. The venue will offer party packages and private event spaces, letting kids celebrate with bowling, arcade games and a movie — while parents skip the setup and cleanup. Birthday parties aren’t cheap, anymore. At the Hooky Fredericksburg, VA location, parties start at about $300 – $400 for a small group party. Per-child add-ons are $20 – $40.
Family Fun That Won’t Blow the Budget
Good news for budget-minded parents: Other Hooky locations offer weekday specials and activity discounts, including bowling promotions (for example, some locations advertise midweek bowling deals around $9.99). Families can mix and match activities depending on their budget — from a quick arcade stop to a full evening out.
