Sumner County students can enhance their creative minds during the 2016 – 2017 school year with the Arts After School program available through the Hendersonville Arts Council.
Arts After School classes take place weekly and are available to kids in grades 1 – 12. Students will learn color theory, drawing, painting, clay, sculpture and printmaking. At the end of the school year, Arts After School will produce a small reception for the kids to showcase their masterpieces to family and friends. The reception will include light snacks and beverages, emulating a real-life professional art show. It’s an opportunity for young artists to communicate the concepts they develop and implement in their creations.
In addition, students ages 10 and older can participate in the Anime After School class, running weekly September – May on Tuesdays and Fridays
