There’s something wonderful about heading out to local farmers markets in the mornings! We’ve got you covered with farmers’ markets in our area. While most of them begin in the summer, a few are year-round or offer spring hours.


East Nashville Farmers Market

TUESDAYS | 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. (April – October), 3 – 6 p.m. (November – December)
A community farmers’ market popping up every Tuesday from 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. at the corner of 5th & Woodland in East Nashville. Park for free in the lot at the corner of 6th & Main St. and across the street at the First Church of the Nazarene.

12 South Farmers Market

TUESDAYS | 4 – 7 p.m.
Opening Day: May 2
A weekly community farmers market with live music and food trucks every Tuesday from 4 – 7 p.m., May through October at Sevier Park (3000 Granny White Pike, Nashville). Free parking is available.

Hip Donelson Farmers Market

FRIDAYS | 4 – 7 p.m. (May – August) 4 – 6:30 p.m. (September – October)
Opening Day: May 5
A fresh, local, producer-only Farmers Market every Friday (except Labor Day Weekend), May through October, from 4 – 6:30 p.m. at Two Rivers Mansion (3130 McGavock Pk, Nashville).

Nashville Farmers’ Market

Open 362 days a year, the farm sheds are open 8 a.m. – 6 p.m. Sun – Thu and 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. Fri – Sat. Individual farmers’ days/hours vary (find the complete list and their schedules at the website), and you can find fresh veggies, fruits, meats, cheeses, organic produce and more. The Market House has 16 restaurants and shops, and the Grow Local Kitchen offers culinary classes throughout the year.

This year round market features vendors with produce, meats, dairy items, artisan foods, flowers, honey and specialty goods on Saturdays from 9 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. May through December.


Rutherford County Farmers Market

TUESDAYS | 7 a.m. – 12 p.m.
FRIDAYS | 7 a.m. – 12 p.m.

Opening Day: May 12
The Rutherford county Farmers Market is a Producer-Only Farmers Market located in the indoor/open air Community Center at Lane Agri-Park (315 John Rice Boulevard #101, Murfreesboro). The Market opens for the season Friday, May 12 through the end of October and is open Tuesdays and Fridays from 7 a.m. to Noon.

Murfreesboro Saturday Farmers Market

SATURDAYS | 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Opening Day: May 6
Main Street Saturday Market in downtown Murfreesboro is a weekly farmers market on the square every Saturday starting May 6 through October 28, 2023 from 8 a.m. until noon.

Lascassas Farmers Market - Love Local

Opening Day: June 3

This year-round market is open on Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. It features producer only products including seasonal produce. They always have pasturized pork, grass fed beef, fresh eggs, bread, other baked goods and more.

LA VERGNE FARMERS MARKET - Rutherford County Tennessee

La Vergne Farmers Market

TUESDAYS | 3 – 7 p.m.
This market happens every Tuesday from 3 – 7 p.m. from June – Sept. Local vendors provide fresh honey and free range chicken eggs, agricultural products, organic meat, fruits, garden vegetables and more.

Smyrna Depot Farmer’s Market

SATURDAYS | 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Opening Day: May 20

The train depot opens up for this farmer’s market Saturdays from 8 a.m. – 12 p.m. beginning May 20 and runs through Sept 16, 2023. The market aims to carry local products such as fruits, vegetables, dairy, meats, breads, flowers and local handmade items.


Goodlettsville Farmers Market

THURSDAYS | 3 – 7 p.m.
Opening Day: May 5
Celebrate five years of the Goodlettsville Farmers Market each Thursday, May 5 thru October 6 from 3 – 7 p.m. on the lawn and in the parking lot of the Goodlettsville Visitor’s Center at Moss-Wright Park (705 Caldwell Dr, Goodlettsville).

Gallatin Farmers Market

SATURDAYS | 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Opening Day: May 6
The Gallatin Farmers Market is open on Saturdays from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., starting May through the end of September. Offering the season’s best fresh produce, the market is located across from the Gallatin Fire Department (160 W Franklin St, Gallatin).

Hendersonville Farmers Market

SATURDAYS | 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
Opening Day: May 20
Shop the Hendersonville Farmers Market for in-season produce including organic and naturally-grown fruits, vegetables and a variety of organic meats. The market happens from 8:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. every Saturday at The Streets of Indian Lake (300 Indian Lake Boulevard, Hendersonville) between May 20 and September.

The market happens every Wednesday from 3:30 – 7 p.m. through Aug. 30, 2023. Offerings include vegetables and fruits; herbs, flowers, bedding plants, shrubs and trees; honey, maple syrup, jams and jellies; mushrooms; juice and cider; and soaps.
