Six Flags Over Georgia is full of thrill and family rides and attractions, providing visitors with plenty of heart-pumping experiences. In late spring 2020, thrillists visiting Six Flags Over Georgia can expect two, new innovative ride experiences: Catwoman Whip and Poison Ivy Toxic Twister.  The two new attractions expand the Gotham City Section to seven thrilling rides along with new theming and revamped food and shopping locations.

“Every year, Six Flags creates innovative, new ride experiences for thrill-seekers of all ages,” says Park President Dale Kaetzel. “Catwoman Whip and Poison Ivy Toxic Twister will be sensational new additions to our ride arsenal that features the biggest and best variety of rides in the region.”

Twenty-four guests at a time soar to seven stories high for an adrenaline-charged flight featuring a super-sized wheel spinning horizontally, as a giant arm lifts and tilts the wheel to a
vertical position. You'll be up to 67 feet in the air during these high-speed rotations, too.

Poison Ivy Toxic Twister
Thirty-six riders get a dizzying journey on this swirling adventure featuring a giant center rotating arm that rotates riders in pods. These pods spin counter clockwise, while the ride turns in the opposite direction.

Six Flags White Water Gets a New Ride, Too!
Python Plunge, pictured at top of page, is a striking five-story water slide with multiple swirling discs and adrenaline-pumping drops. It will debut in 2020 as well. The massive water slide features two-person rafts that race along a 500-foot course and careen around giant saucer-shaped turns before sending guests plunging into the pool below.
