Located at 3639 Morton Lane, the courts (six for tennis, six for pickleball) were funded through a Local Parks and Recreation Fund (LPRF) matching grant in partnership with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC).

After purchasing 80 acres of land from the school board back in 2007, they knew it could be a good place for a community park. Phase one of the park opened back in June of 2020 with ball fields, restrooms and playgrounds.

Park leaders are currently budgeting for phase two, which includes building four new baseball fields, youth baseball fields, concession stands, restrooms, new walking and trail areas, additional parking and infrastructure. Moss said they want to make sure they afford what they plan to build with support from leadership and grants from the state.
