Summer Intensives for Students at Hendersonville Performing Arts Company

See your littles in 'The Little Mermaid Jr.' or your teens in 'Newsies! this summer at HPAC.

Calling all young thespians! The Hendersonville Performing Arts Company has announced their Student Summer Intensives.

The junior camp will be for students who have completed the 2nd through 6th grade and will run from July 5-9 with performances of The Little Mermaid Jr. July 9, 10 and 11. This thrilling and heartwarming coming-of-age story follows the strong-willed Ariel, who longs to leave her ocean home behind her and live in the world above. The fees for the junior camp are $250 with a $25 registration fee.

HPAC's Senior Camp will be for students who have completed 7th through 12th grades and will run from July 12-23 with performances of Newsies, July 23, 24, 25 , 30, 31 and August 1. Based on the 1992 Motion Picture, Newsies is packed with non-stop thrills and a timeless message suitable for audiences of all ages. The fees for the senior camp are $350 with a $25 registration fee.

Once everyone is signed up and confirmed there will be an audition process to determine what parts will be assigned. These auditions will happen prior to camp and will be video submissions. More information regarding this process will be sent out upon registering.
