Where Every Family Matters

Little Art House: Sign Up for Fall Classes!

May be an image of 2 people, child and people standingLittle Art House is a trusted source for art education in Nashville where people of all ages learn to imagine, explore and create together. Founded by two sisters, Emma Bradford and Leighton Lancaster, Little Art House is designed to grow with children from Mini Makers adult/child classes to advanced Portfolio Building classes for middle & high school students. They also offer On-The-Go birthday parties, amazing adult classes and community events for families and friends.

Little Art House provides small, personalized learning environments offering consistent classes with qualified teachers. As access to the arts in schools wanes, there is an ongoing need for a place people can create freely. Lancaster says, “We are so proud that families trust us with their children and know they will be healthy, happy, have a good time, and learn something. People know they can depend on us to deliver quality services every time while also being versatile to different scenarios – especially during our On-The-Go Birthday Parties.”

Bradford and Lancaster’s passion for the arts and serving their community are family values that have been passed down for generations. Little Art House is more than an art studio. It is a place for people to experiment and connect over shared learning experiences. Bradford says, “One of my favorite things is watching the students inspire each other. They bounce ideas off one another, and also see that it’s ok to mess up and try again – both kids and adults. Most importantly they learn they are not alone. Everyone is learning together.”

Little Art House studio in Hillsboro Village is just one of many class locations. You can frequently find their classes or events at The Getalong in East Nashville, The Outfield, Sevier Park and more.

This year, the team is excited to increase local access to the arts through the Little Art House Foundation. Its mission is to create accessible, personalized, and meaningful artistic experiences for local non-profits, schools, and community organizations in need. The foundation is currently taking applications from non-profits and public school art teachers. It only takes five minutes to apply! Current partners include the YWCA, The Nashville Public Library and Girls Inc. Learn more about donating, applying, or volunteering at LittleArtHouseFoundation.org.

Little Art House is located at 2106B Acklen Avenue, Nashville. For more information, call 615-933-9644 or visit LittleArtHouseNashville.com.
