TPAC Brings Broadway’s Best with 2022-23 Lineup

The new season features seven Nashville premieres and the return of 'Hamilton.'

Get ready, theater-lovers! Another season of Broadway in Nashville is on the horizon with  Tennessee Performing Arts Center’s announcement of its 2022-23 HCA Healthcare/TriStar Health Broadway at TPAC season. featuring seven Nashville premieres and the return of Hamilton (full season announcement below).

The 2022-23 Broadway at TPAC season lineup includes:

  • To Kill A Mockingbird, (Aug. 9 – 14), Academy Award winner Aaron Sorkin’s adaptation of the Harper Lee’s Pulitzer-Prize winning play. Pretty Woman: The Musical, (Sept. 27 – Oct. 2), based on the hit romantic movie
  • Hadestown, (Nov. 1 – 6), winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best Musical.
  • Six, (Feb. 21 – 26), a celebration of 21st Century girl power as the six wives of Henry VIII remix 500 years of historical heartbreak
  • Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of The Temptations, (March 21 -26), the journey from the streets of Detroit to fame
  • Disney’s Aladdin, (May 2 – 7), a new production filled with magic and spectacle from the producers of The Lion King.
  • 1776, (June 20 – 25), a new production of the Tony Award-winning musical, reexamines a pivotal moment in American history
  • Les Misérables, (Jan. 10 – 15), the Tony Award-winning musical phenomenon is a special add-on presentation to the season

TPAC is excited about the coming productions.

“We’re thrilled to bring a new season of the hottest Broadway titles directly to your door,” says Jennifer Turner, TPAC President and CEO. “You don’t need to go to New York to see the latest shows, because as a season ticket holder, you can experience all of them here at home with great savings and other benefits,” she adds.

Season ticket packages are available through March 25. Packages start as low as $40 per show when you book all eight shows. Season ticket holders receive the best seats at the best price compared to purchasing shows individually.

The story of America then, told by America now. Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, this is the story of American founding father Alexander Hamilton in a revolutionary moment in theatre. With book, music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, direction by Thomas Kail and choreography by Andy Blankenbuehler, the show is based on Ron Chernow’s acclaimed biography. It’s the winner of the Tony and Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and a special citation from the Kennedy Center Honors.

The productions features an original score by Grammy-winner Bryan Adams and Jim Vallance (Summer of ’69, Heaven).




November 1-6, 2022
Winner of eight 2019 Tony Awards including Best Musical and the 2020 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album, this acclaimed show from singer-songwriter Anaïs Mitchell and director Rachel Chavkin is a love story for always.
